Dojo Rules

No profanity.
No smoking or chewing tobacco.
No shoes on dojo floor unless instructed to do so by instructor
or have prior permission.
No gum or candy in class.
No leaning on walls.
Toenails and fingernails are to be clipped.
Students are to always train in a clean uniform.
Students should arrive early for class and be warmed up before
class begins.
Students who arrive late for class are required to do ten pushups as an "entry fee" for being tardy.
Students are to address all black belt instructors as Sensei
followed by the instructors first or last name example;
Sensei John or Sensei Hoffmire.
If the senior instructor is not on deck when students begin warming up before class, then when the senior instructor does come on deck. You need to be busy with karate techniques and not playing around.
Students are Forbidden from giving any public demonstration of
any karate technique, without the head Sensei's permission (this
will be strictly enforced).
All substitute or guest instructors will be treated with the
highest respect.
A respectful bow will be given whenever going on or off the
training floor.
Once you have bowed into the dojo, if you need a drink, restroom break or any reason to leave the dojo floor, you must ask permission from one of the Sensei's.
Students are to stand at attention or in a ready position,
whenever being addressed or addressing an instructor.
Students should attend as many classes as possible.
Students should line up by rank in a military like formation at
the beginning of class, stand at attention, and wait for the
instructor to begin class (waiting may be part of the
lesson).
It is up to everyone to help keep the dojo clean, senior
students will instruct subordinate students what needs to be
cleaned no one should leave until the clean up has been approved
by the Sensei or senior student.
A student is not permitted to leave class without
permission from the senior instructor.
Students are encouraged to ask questions at the appropriate time
in a respectful manner.
Please No Smoking on school grounds. It is a Lawrence Township Rule.

The Forest Glen Staff is not responsible for scheduling. They only do what they are ask to do and they have a history of doing that very well.
