Instructors Experience:

The instructors for the karate classes are all members of the nationally recognized organization, Isshinryu World Karate Association (IWKA).  All black belt ranks have been granted and are recognized by the IWKA. 

The head instructor is Sensei John Hoffmire. Sensei Hoffmire  has 37 years of experience in Isshinryu Karate and is available about 50% of the time.

The assistant instructors give much of the instruction

This allows our young instructors the opportunity to gain experience teaching karate and to expand their knowledge. While also helping the newer students learn basic and intermediate techniques. The assistant  instructors have an average of 8 years of experience in Isshinryu Karate. All of our assistant instructors have successfully completed an instructor certification program. Given by the Indianapolis Isshinryu Bushido Association.
